The class records collection consists of mixed materials documenting the history and activities of various Princeton University graduating classes both during their time at Princeton and as alumni. Representation in the collection is not equal, nor is every single Princeton class represented, however for some classes, largely those between 1920 and 1940, there is an abundance of material. Typical items include correspondence, photographs, records of students, reunion announcements, alumni magazines, and death announcements. Additionally there are some pieces of memorabilia such as medals, scrapbooks, and banners. For pre-1900 classes there is considerably less material.
